Hey everyone, it's been a while. I had a nasty sickness, so had been unable to do any work on the engine for a while. Thankfully, I have now recovered, and am back in action.
This update is the result of me experimenting with the prototype of the new sprite collection editor and discovering that there were some major issues when the engine combined off-grid movement commands and sprite collections with a custom base. About half the calculations used the image's location, while the other half used the base's location, causing characters to wander all over the place. This minor update should fix all of that.
The sprite collection editor itself should follow later this week. All that remains is working out some minor kinks, and writing out the guide. I'm aiming for a saturday release.
In unrelated news, I have also set up a discord for the Pink Engine. I've set it up so I can provide some transparency regarding my plans for the Pink Engine, as well as set up a place of discussion for creators who make use (or wish to make use) of it. The discord can be found here.
